Tarot, divination by cards, being able to give clear indications as to what has been, is now and could be in the future.  Tarot is a form of answering the many questions that you have always wanted answers to but could not find.  Tarot is not a will be, is or has been but purely an Indication, a guide.

 Divination by Tarot dates back many hundred  of years though not at first practiced as a form of divination, it is widely assumed that it derived from Northern Italy after having been first devised as a card game for the Gentry, however, as they became more and more accustomed to using them they began to discover that there was more to these cards than first envisaged, as it was realized that the cards could be used to predict possible future events.    And so it was that the popularity of the cards soon began to spread far and wide to used as a means as divination, as we use today.  However, it was not until the mid 19c that they became more and more accepted so that less and less secrecy surrounded them for up until then people who used them were regarded as witches for they could tell with some degree of accuracy the answers to most questions that were given them.  Today we are more relaxed in our attitudes towards such practices.  It is believed that the oldest three surviving tarot Cards were as early as the mid 15^th c and most likely produced to celebrate the union of Visconti and Sforza family.
